Cisco – service provider blogs



Between 2016 and 2018 I worked as a writer for the agency MRM, creating blogs for Cisco about its technology for internet service providers. This involved conversations with Cisco's technical experts to understand topics such as 5G, virtualisation and automation and then communicating the business benefits of Cisco's technology in an accessible way for non-technical decision makers. The campaigns also included working with art directors to produce social media content.

BT and Hearing Link – hearing loss guide



Working for Muse Publishing, I was the copywriter for a joint BT and Hearing Link 46-page guide (pdf) for people living with hearing loss.

It explained what people can expect as they develop hearing loss and offered practical guidance on issues such as technology, learning new skills and accessing support from healthcare services.

BT – Including You website



As a writer for Muse Publishing, I created the copy for BT's Including You website for people with a disability or impairment. I worked with UX designers and several BT stakeholders to develop a new, more streamlined site focusing on user needs.

The website received an AbilityNet Accessibility Accredited Plus Award for best practice in accessibility and usability.

Travelex web copy



In 2015 I worked in-house at Travelex producing copy for the company's UK, US and Australian websites as part of its digital transformation. This involved working closely with designers, content managers and SEO specialists to update the content of the top landing pages and create new pages.

The Giving Machine website



I wrote the copy for the relaunch of the website for The Giving Machine, a social enterprise that enables people to make free charitable donations when they shop online.

I have written copy for organisations ranging from charities to luxury travel magazines. I have worked on a wide range of digital, inbound marketing and content marketing projects in industries including manufacturing, telecoms, IT, and financial services.
